Maurits Lutteraan

Maurits Lutteraan was a secondary school teacher. He lived with his father Levi at 13 A-plein in Zwolle. Another child from the family survived the war.

Maurits Lutteraan went into hiding with his friend Raphael Hirsch, in the Achterhoek. After a raid on 16 February 1944 he was deported to Auschwitz.

Maurits Lutteraan was tot zijn eervol ontslag per 1 januari 1938 onderwijzer. Daarna bekwaamde hij zich in het vak van voetspecialist. Zijn zus Heintje was pedicure. Mogelijk heeft dit zijn keuze voor een nieuw beroep beïnvloed. Beiden werkten vanuit hun woonadres, A plein 13. Heintje Lutteraan overleefde de oorlog.
