Roosje de Vries was a daughter of rabbi Abraham de Vries. When the war started, she lived with her sister Essie and her brother Comprecht at the same address. She was the last person to be buried in the Jewish cemetery in Winsum. The grave was fitted with a tombstone on 11 (?) December 1941.
