Saartje is een dochter van Abraham Braaf en Salina (Satina?) Jakobson (Jakobsen?). Ze trouwde 9 juli 1919 met Salomon Nathan (36 jaar, veehandelaar), zoon van Nathan Nathan en Aaltje Wolf.

Salomon Oppenheim was married to Saartje Braaf. They had three children. Their son Abraham Tinus and their daughter Tina were murdered in the Shoah. Salomon and Saartje had several items of jewelry looted from them.
