Jacoba Benninga-van Dam is geboren in 1898 in Warffum. Ze was getrouwd met Noach Benninga. Ze kregen twee kinderen. Moeder en kinderen werden in 1942 in Auschwitz omgebracht.

Noach Benninga and his family

Noach Benninga was married to Jacoba van Dam. They had a daughter, Kaatje, and a son, Philippus. The family lived at 13 Torenstraat in Warffum. Noach Benninga was a cattle dealer. In 1942 he was arrested for violating Nazi regulations by trading. He was deported to Mauthausen. On 26 October a message arrived from Mauthausen at their home in Warffum informing his wife that her husband had been shot…
