Salomon Levie (known as Sallie) was a son of Eliazar Levie and Betje Hartog. On 23 November 1922 he married Mina Monas, daughter of Abraham Monas and Sara de Vries. The couple had three children: Eliazar Max (died in 1926), Charles Bertus and Elly Max.
