Anna arrived with her ten year old daughter and as a widow in Rotterdam in 1924. They lived at her sisters's place. Anna and her sister Ester Lea Poverenij had not survived the war. Anna's daughter got married in Amsterdam in 1941. Together with her husband she went into hiding and both survived the war.
