Simon de Vries

Simon de Vries was the son of Israel de Vries and Lea Simons. He was a cattle dealer and butcher in Winschoten.
Simon de Vries was first married to Carolina Leeraar. After she died in 1920 he married Clara de Leeuw in Amsterdam. She died in 1935.

Simon de Vries wordt op 10 mei 1943 in Limburg gearresteerd wegens illegale grensoverschrijding. Hij had een groot bedrag aan Nederlandse guldens en Belgische Franken bij zich en heeft hoogstwaarschijnlijk geprobeerd te vluchten richting Zwitserland of Spanje.
