Salomon Slösser was the son of Isaak Slösser and Roosje Frankvoorder. Salomon worked both as a travelling salesman in colonial merchandise and as a baker. He married Sara Rosetta de Leeuw on 21 December 1916. They had five children, two of whom died young. The family lived at Tidorestraat 57 in Amsterdam before settling in Hilversum.
