About Diena Katz

Diena Katz was  a daughter of Benjamin Katz and Sijbilla Philipson from Doesburg. 18 June 1902, she married in Amsterdam Alexander Hegt, a son of shoemaker Samuel Hegt and Hester van Win. The couple had six children: one daughter died very young, only 1 year old; two sons have survived the Holocaust and three children of Diena and Alexander, namely Sophia, Hester and Rachel Mientje were killed in …
