Sophia Odewald-Israels

Sophia Odewald-Israels was the widow of Philip Odewald, who drowned in the Verbindingscanal in Groningen in 1936.

The Odewald family ran a kosher hotel in Groningen, Hotel Odewald. The Jewish youth paper of 16 February 1933 states that the rabbis De Hond and Sadberg ate at Hotel Odewald.
