Vanaf 1914 woont en werkt ze in Almelo en Borculo waar ze tot 1917 verblijft. Dan keert ze terug naar Leeuwarden.

Henriëtte trouwt in 1921 met Andreas Sanders. Ze gaan in Amsterdam wonen. Na een korte ziekte sterft Andreas in 1924. Ze hebben geen kinderen. Zij keert terug naar haar ouders in Leeuwarden.

Henriette hertrouwt in 1928 met Jacob Kaufman en verhuist naar Gennep in Limburg.
