Alexander Polak

Alexander (Lex) Polak played the clarinet. He was an arbiter for soccer club DSV. Shortly before he would make the trip to Westerbork, he married to Roossien Beem.

The mayor of Diepenheim requested that Mozes Polak and his wife Bernardina Wimpfheimer, residents of Diepenheim, be located, detained and brought to trial. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
