About Justus Mogendorff

Dr. Justus Mogendorff was the son of Maurits Mogendorff and Saartje de Jong. He was councillor in Doetinchem. Between Februari and April 1943 he was involved with the 'Villa Bouchina' in Doetinchem. A small number of Dutch Jews were interned at this former vicorage. Justus Mogendorff arranged for two children interned there, that they received education by two discharged Jewish teachers who forme…

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 8491/16078).
