Esther de Beer  was bewoonster van de psychiatrische inrichting Endegeest te Oegstgeest. Haar naam stond op een  lijst uit december 1942 van Joodse patiënten. De geneesheer-directeur van Endegeest moest deze lijst aan de autoriteiten verstrekken. Op 13 mei 1943 is Esther samen met negen  andere patiënten,  door de Duitsers naar Westerbork overgebracht.
