Paula Herzfeld-Kroner

Paula Kroner came to the Netherlands as a refugee from Germany, in 1936. She moved to Breda, where her she had close family. As she responded to the call-up for deportation, her siblings, in tears, waved her goodbye. Later on, the members of the family that had stayed behind went into hiding and survived the war.
