Sigmund Löb

According to the death records of camp Sachsenhausen Sigmund Löb died on 31 December 1944. It is possible this date is different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.

Sigmund's birthplace Weißenthurm is now a part of the city of Koblenz. Else Löb, born David, 1889 in Weisbaden, had no children. They lived in Duesseldorf, Grunerstraße 33 with their teckel, and left Duesseldorf for Amsterdam in November 1936.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 7735/538).
