Jacob Lakmaker and Anna Ensel married on 6 August 1941. Presumably from the beginning of 1942 Jacob Lakmaker was forced to work in labour camp Diever B near Meppel. When it became clear the camp would be closed down his wife decided to accompany him together with their son 'to the east'.
