About Sara Swaab-Baruch

Sara Baruch was a daughter of Abraham Baruch and Betje van Gelder. She married Aaron Swaab in Amsterdam on July 17, 1929, a son of Joseph Swaab and Jetje Berkhof.
Five other siblings, Nathan, Salomon, Rosalie, Jacob and Evaline Hélène have been killed during the Holocaust too.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 1389) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 11736/6919).
