Emil Stranders

Emil Stranders was known as Miel. He provided spiritual guidance at Huize Voorburg, the youth aliyah home in Elden, where he taught tenakh and biblical Hebrew. This home in the South of Arnhem was intended for older Palestine pioneers (ages 16 to 19).
Emil Stranders was married in Amsterdam in February 1942. His wife survived the war.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
