Jacob Abraham Buijs was deported to Sobibor in June 1943 from Vught via Westerbork on the so-called children's transport. He was 4 when he died.

Maurits Buijs was a son of Abraham Buijs and Rachel Yzerkoper. He got married to Branca Scheermes, a daughter of Jacob Scheermes and Saartje Kloot.
