On 31 August 1945 relatives ran an obituary in the Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad for Marianne Asscher, her husband A. Salomon Eitje and their son A. Joseph Eitje, for Mathilde Levie-Eitje and for R. Henri Eitje, his wife Elisabeth Kulker and their son Alfred Eitje.
