Simon Klarfeld

The Klarfeld lived at Wittenberger Str. 34 in Leipzig before the war, where Simon was a representative (Vertreter) by profession. The entire family was expelled to Poland on 28 Oktober 1938, and later emigrated to Holland. (Bundesarchiv Gedenkbuch, Leipziger Adressbuch 1933)

In February 1938 Simon was a representative of a Dresden wineyard. Simon and Tema got married in Bodenbach/Elbe in Bohemia in March 2, 1924. Their first address in Germany was Halberstadt where both elder girls were born.

Last address of Klarfeld family was Berliner Straße 17 where they lived from May 22, 1936. They were first mentioned Polish in the Police record but afterwards stateless.
