Engelina Mossel was the daughter of Elias Mossel and Vrouwtje Levie Knook. She married in 1885 in Amsterdam to Samuel Witteboon, who died in 1912. They had six children: Abraham, Vrouwtje, Clara, Elias, Alida and Salomon.
Engelinas daughter Clara married in 1925 to Salomon Wijnman, who died in 1930.
