Lodewijk van Cleeff

Lodewijk van Cleeff was a son of Jules van Cleeff and Elisabeth Polak.
During the war Lodewijk van Cleeff went into hiding at the address of a friend. He decided to flee to Switzerland. At the French border he was arrested and sent to Auschwitz through Paris.

Lodewijk van Cleeff, geb. 20.11.1909 te Rotterdam, is op 11.11.1942 met transport no. 45 vanuit het Franse doorgangskamp Drancy naar Auschwitz gedep.

Hij woonde in Rotterdam, Nederland.

Zijn beroep was conservenfabrikant.

Op de Franse lijst wordt hij Louis genoemd (= fra. voor Lodewijk).
