Gompel Aardewerk

Gompel Aardewerk was a son of Joseph Moses Aardewerk and Mietje Granaada. He married 12 July in Amsterdam to Geesje Engelsman, a daughter of Leendert Pinas Engelsman and Clara Wertheim. The couple had three sons, of whom one son has survived the war, one son passed away in 1929, 16 years old and Joseph, who was killed during the Holocaust.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
