About Hartog Philips

The Police Commissioner, head of the Juvenile Bureau in Amsterdam, requested that the minor Hartog Philips, born on 25 September 1924 in Amsterdam, living at 29 Nieuwe Amstelstraat in Amsterdam, be located, detained and brought to trial. He had been missing since 19 July 1942. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
