Nathan Droomer

Nathan Droomer was a son of Benjamin Droomer and Jetje Wallig. He was born on 15 January 1893 and was the fourth of the seven children in the family, of whom one child was stillborn in 1895, one child died, almost 3 years old and one child survived the war because he was mixed married. Four children, among them he himself, were killed during the Shoah.

Nathan Droomer was een zoon van Benjamin Droomer [Sommelsdijk 1864- R’dam 1904] en Jetje Wallig [Den Haag 1864].
Hij kwam uit een gezin met zes kinderen.

The Droomers lived on the Anemonestraat in Hilversum before the war.
The evening before Nathan and Grietje would be transported along with their children, they went to say goodbye to their old neighbors. They also packed a suitcase with valuables for friends to keep 'while they were away'.
