Alise Essinger-Rosengarten

Alise Essinger-Rosengarten was een dochter van Hermann Rosengarten en Selma Joske Wachenheimer. Ze had een zus, Inge, die de oorlog overleefde.
Alise en haar man Kurt Essinger werden gearresteerd in Brussel, tijdens een poging om illegaal naar Zwitserland te ontkomen.

Alice, her father Hermann Rosengarten, her grandmother Salomea Rosengarten lived at Schützenstr. 4 in Berlin-Steglitz before emigrating to Holland on 01.08.1933. Hermann owned a store selling radios at Müllerstr. 182-183 in Berlin-Wedding. (Berliner Gedenkbuch, Berlin Addressbook 1933, Jewish Addressbook Berlin 1931)

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
