Anita Sophie Priwin was the grand-daughter of the hazzan of Minsk. Her grandparents moved to Germany around 1870. Her father moved to Berlin in the nineteen-twenties. In 1933 he lived at the Goethestrasse in Berlin. He was the father of two children. A half-sister of Anita Sophie Priwin emigrated to the United States before the war and survived.
