Leo Slager

Leo Slager was a classmate of Anne Frank on the Jewish Lyceum. Anne writes about him in her diary. In the scientific NIOD-editions of The Diaries of Anne Frank (1986) his name is written on page 145.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 55184) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 1).
