Jeannette Roodenburg was a daughter of Matthijs Hartog Roodenburg and Klare Cohen_ from Leeuwarden. She was married on 24 April 1935 in Amsterdam to a social democrat from Germany who survived the war. She had a child. According to tradition she did not wear the Jewish Star and she was a member of the resistance. She was arrested at home in February/March 1944.
