Theresia is een dochter van Isaac Gotlieb en Roosje Hildesheim. Ze trouwde 29 april 1925 met Mozes Lopes Cardozo (21 jaar, schuitenvoerder van beroep), zoon van Abraham Lopes Cardozo en Rosette Barend.

Na de scheiding van Mozes hertrouwde ze 1 oktober 1930 met Aaron Gobets (44 jaar, koopman van beroep), zoon van Machiel Gobets en Elizabeth Bak.
