Volgens bijgaand rapport van het Bureau Joodsche Zaken is Willem op 20-06-1942 gearresteerd in de woning van zijn zuster waar hij verbleef sinds zijn vlucht uit het Werkkamp Gijsselte, in Drenthe.
Bijgaand ook een vermelding in het fouilleringrapport van 20-06-1942. Hieruit blijkt dat hij werd opgesloten in cel 16B (in rood) van het Hoofdbureau van Politie in Amsterdam.
