About Jacob Schrijver

Jacob Schrijver was a son of Juda Schrijver and Schoontje Gobes. He married Naatje van Weren in Amsterdam on 17 July 1913, daughter of Salomon van Weren and Rebecca Halverstad. The couple had three children, Juda, Salomon and Hartog, who passed in April 1930. only five years old.

Markt voor Joden 1941 - 1943: Joubertstraat

Op de speeltuin aan de Jouberstraat hebben we 215 kooplieden gevonden die een aanvraag hebben gedaan om daar te mogen staan of daar daadwerkelijk op gestaan hebben. Op dit moment gaat het om 196 mannen en 18 vrouwen. Verdere details met betrekking tot de markt op de Joubertstraat volgt nog.

Er is sinds maart 2024 een amateur video opgedoken uit een privé archief waar beelden van de markt te vinden…
