About Jacobus Zeelander

In march 1942 Jacobus Zeelander was set to work at Vedder, one of the Jewish labour camps in the Netherlands. Only a few months later the whole family was sent to the concentration camps, through Westerbork.

Jacobus Zeelander and his family

The Zeelander family came from Borgerhout in Belgium to the Netherlands in 1941. The first moved in with relatives at Hofmeyerstraat 13 III in Amsterdam. Later they got their own appartment at Hofmeyerstraat 9 II. There threir son Louis was born.
