Marianne Slier-Venetianer joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 10 February 1939. In 1883 trouwde Margaretha Halberstadt in Amsterdam met Jonas van Geens, die zelf uit Meppel kwam.
