Alida Judith Aletrino was the eldest of the two children of Abraham Aletrino and Sara Finsij. She was born in Amsterdam on 16 November 1906. She married Simon Pierotto on 7 August 1930 in Amsterdam, who was born 8 September 1891 in Amsterdam as son of Levie Pierotto and Alida Carels.
