Simon Duitz was a son of Levie Duitz and Louise Zwaap. He married 29 March 1906 in Amsterdam Esther Lopes Cardozo, a daughter of Jacob Haim Lopes Cardozo and Eva d’Ancona.
Simon had five other siblings; two have survive the war and two have died before the war. He self and his sister Rosette have been killed during the Holocaust.
