Klaartje is een dochter van Abraham Zwaaf (A'dam, 5 juli 1852) en Sientje Roodveldt (A'dam, 8 maart 1860). Ze trouwde 3 mei 1905 met Nathan Sluijs, zoon van Marcus Nathan Sluijs en Betje Frankfort (A'dam, 19 aug 1839).
