David Lijmer

David Lijmer and Johanna Korper were married at Westerbork transit camp on 7 July 1943. David, a bookkeeper, was a son of warehouse hand Abraham Lijmer and of Esther Halverstad. Johanna, who ironed clothes for a living, was a daughter of diamond worker Barend Korper and of Kaatje Wagenhuis.

David Lijmer was mijn oom. Abraham en Esther Lijmer-Halverstad waren mijn opa en oma. En dus de schoonouders van Johanna Lijmer-Korper. Ik ben de oudste dochter van Levie Lijmer, Hij was de oudste zoon van Abraham en Esther, en de enige van de hele familie, die de oorlog heeft overleefd. Voor zover als ik weet.
