About Jeannette Arpels

Jeannette Arpels was a daughter of Salomon Arpels and Sara Kool. She married Benjamin Hakker in Amsterdam on 24 July 1943, a son of Levie Hakker and Betje Velleman. Jeannette and Benjamin Hakker had two children together: Louis, also known as Loekie or Lex, and Sonny. Jeannette, her husband and both her children have been killed in Sobibor on 9 July 1943.
