Hendrika Nathans-de Leeuw

The Arnhem police commissioner requested that Jacob Nathans and his wife Hendrika Nathans-de Leeuw, residing in Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Gabriël de Leeuw and Kaatje van Bazel had six children. One son, Abraham, died in 1923, eight years old. Besides the children David en Hendrika, who was married to Jacob Nathans, there were Jacob, married to Mietje Cijfer and Meyer. One other child survived the war.
