Mietje de Vries-Prins

Mietje Prins was a daughter of Maurits Prins (b. 1840). Her father was among the founders of the Deventer Jewish community and owned a tapestry factory in the same town. From 1912 onwards the factory, then named "N.V. De Deventer Tapijtfabriek, voorheen Maurits Prins", was managed by his sons. In the fall or winter of 1878, Prins moved to Dinxperloo. Mietje was born in Deventer in July of 1878.
