Gezin Leiseroff voor vertrek naar Nederland

v.l.n.r.Elka Leiseroff-Herzberg met dochter Frieda op schoot, Gilel Wulf Leiseroff staand en zijn vader Isaac Leiseroff met kleinzoon Mischa staand naast hem. Foto is gemaakt in Vilna, waarschijnlijk rond 1908, vlakvoor het gezin emigreerde naar Nederland, waar al een broer van Elka woonde.
Hoewel er later foto's van zijn hele familie in Wit-Rusland zijn opgedoken, dateren die van na zijn vertrek en dus is dit de enige foto van Gilel.

Gilel Wulf Leiseroff and Elka Herzberg had four children: Mitcha, Louis, Rebecca and one child that survived the war.
