Duifje van Velzen was a daughter of Salomon van Velzen and Dina Berghoff. She married 1 July 1925 in Amsterdam to the widower of Vrouwtje van Geens, Joseph Brilleslijper, son of Machiel Brilleslijper and Rebekka Bamberger.
