These Stolpersteine are in front of the house where Hildegard Kohlmann (nee Wolf) grew up in Barchfeld Germany with her brother (Leopold, died before the war), her sister (Ilse, died NYCity 1968) and mother (Therese Levor-Wolf died at Auschwitz). The address is Hotzelgasse 1. She and her family emigrated to Amsterdam about 1938 but could not leave after the Nazi invasion in 1940.

Friedrich Kohlmann, his wife Hildegard Kohlmann (nee Wolf) and their daughter Irmgard Kohlmann were all murdered at Auschwitz on 19 Nov 1943 after being deported from Amsterdam. No member of that immediate family survived. Hildegard's sister survived and lived in NYC until her death in 1968.
