Joseph Veldman

On 10-08-1944 Joseph Veldman and five other persons were taken to the police station of Venlo by the 'Sturmscharfführer' of the SD. Joseph was hurt by a gunshot wound to his head. After treatment he was taken to the SD in Arnhem on the same day.

Op 10 augustus 1944 vond een razzia op onderduikers plaats in Grubbenvorst. De Amsterdammer Joop Veldman trachtte te vluchten, maar werd geraakt door een pistoolschot van een politieman. Gewond werd hij, samen met de Venlose mevrouw Fanny Wolff–Goldstein naar Westerbork overgebracht. De onderduikgevers werden wel op het politiebureau ondervraagd, maar weer vrijgelaten.
