Adolph Stein

Adolph Stein was the son of David Stein and Gracia Rodriques Lopes. There were six children in the family. Adolph’s father, David Stein, died in the ring at Carré circus theatre, where he worked as a clown. Adolph began selling flowers at a young age to support his family. Adolph Stein, die als bloemenverkoper ook bekend was onder de naam 'Bloemen Mozes', verkocht verschillende manuscripten met zijn eigen levensbeschrijving. In het Joods Museum in Amsterdam bevindt zich een manuscript, in het gemeentearchief van Den Haag bevinden zich twee manuscripten en er zijn waarschijnlijk  meer manuscripten in omloop.
