Further research by the editors of the Jewish Monument has shown that Sipora Lewin-Tokkie was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with convyoy 7 of 1 September 1942. Arrival in Auschwitz 3 September 1942. Her name does not app…

This transport contained 999 deportees, among them 147 children, younger than 16 years. More or less in the same ratio as in the 1^st convoy. The registrations began on 31 July and were completed 8 days later on 7 August. Hijman Abraham Lewin was deported with convoy 2 of 11 August 1942 from Mechelen to Auschwitz. Arrival there 13 or 14 August. According to the death books of Auschwitz (Sterbebücher), Hijman Lewin was killed there on 4 September 1942.
