Rijntje Hoornstra-de Leeuw

Rijntje Hoornstra-de Leeuw was the daughter of Salomon de Leeuw and Betje Cohen. In 1887, Rijntje married Eliazer Hoornstra in Woerden. Eliazer died in 1917 in Amsterdam. Rijntje and Eliazer had three children. Two of the children left the Netherlands and died before the war. The third child survived the war.

In 1906 biedt Rijntje mede namens haar zuster en broers twee siertorens voor de wetsrol aan de Israèelitische Gemeente van Woerden (thans in het museum het Catharina Gasthuis te Gouda). Rijntje de Leeuw woonde op de Sophialaan 43 huis te Amsterdam (bron archiefkaart Stadsarchief Amsterdam).
